Carre Blanc
This Restaurant club opened in 2001 in a renovated 19th century mansion. The name Carre Blanc was inspired by the shape of the square white plates, which were chosen for the restaurant by the owner. Inspiration also came from the Painting of Malevich called Carr? Blanc, a copy of which hangs in the banquet room.
Carre Blanc provides the atmosphere and food for all occasions. There is a guarantee that quality is never, ever compromised here. The sleek design of Carre Blanc has provided content for numerous Interiors Magazines. A more relaxed, but sophisticated setting would be difficult to find in Moscow. Meals are served with finesse and professionalism and can be accompanied by a top selection of fine wines from one of Moscow''s largest wine cellars. The menu, using French technique, is impressive, making Carr? Blanc one of the most high-class establishments in Moscow. It is 100% western managed and has a secure and discreet ambience with respect for the customers' privacy, whether it is friends enjoying a dinner or business partners meeting discreetly in a private setting. Night Flight
Night Flight is a popular nightclub and restaurant in Moscow located on Tverskaya Street, one of the biggest and most vibrant streets in the city, a stone's throw away from Red Square. In 2007 the nightclub moved away from the restaurant to a new location about a block away, also on Tverskaya Street. Established in 1991, both the club and restaurant have Swedish management and attentive, English-speaking staff. The restaurant is perennially busy, particularly its outside seating area on warm light summer nights. Highlights include steaks and salmon dishes. Night Flight
Kruzhka
Kruzhka restaurants can usually be identified outside by their orange "Kruzhka" signs, which are often illuminated and difficult to miss. The orange theme continues inside, where the brick walls and wooden furniture give most Kruzhka restaurants a somewhat rugged character.
It is common in Moscow and other Russian cities for there to be relatively little difference between bars, restaurants, clubs, and cafes, and Kruzhka is no exception. These "beer restaurants" tend to be popular with students, though the cheap food and beer attracts expatriates as well as Russians. However, that does not necessarily mean that Kruzhka has a "Western" character. Kruzhka
Boarhouse
Doug and Marty's Boarhouse or Chesterfields, as it was previously known, is a 24 hour bar and restaurant located in central Moscow. The bar was opened in 1997 by Canadian Doug Steele along with expat club-owner Jean-Michel and Englishman Martin Bainbridge. Doug was previously the owner of the well known night club in Moscow, The Hungry Duck. Steele left the Boar House in 2006 to form the Doug Steele Restaurants venture, planning to open a series of restaurants and bars throughout Moscow. This venture failed in 2007 after the opening of three establishments - one of them has now closed and the others are under new management. Boarhouse
